During the Historical Camp along the Hofvijver, you can take part in the Longest Rembrandt Drawing on Saturday afternoon from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. In 1638 Rembrandt made a sketch of two drummers on horseback. However, the procession consisted of 300 historical characters with, among other things, a carriage drawn by six lions. This procession was part of the 10-day wedding in The Hague between Lord Johan Wolfert van Brederode and Louise van Solms, as a result of which the Lord van Brederode became brother-in-law to the Prince of Orange. A highlight from the Golden Age. During the Mini-Uitfestival, the children in the Schilderswijk make a drawing one week earlier in the Vaillant Theater that serves as an example.
