It is possible to participate in the breakfast for € 8.50 per person or just to come and have a look. During breakfast there are performances and a History Quiz. The 8 Queens arrive at around 10:30 am with the carriage for the historical explanation of the name ‘Prinsjesdag’.
After breakfast, the Opening Show ‘800 years of Binnenhof’ with the Count of Holland will take place at 12:00 on the Lange Voorhout, where the stands are set up for Prinsjesdag. The Queens make a round with the carriage.
Of course the Queens are present at 2 p.m. at the Swim to Fight Cancer event where hundreds of brave participants go swimming in the canal of The Hague to raise money to fight cancer.
At 3.30 pm the Queens are invited to Museum Escher in the Palace, Lange Voorhout 74. It was the former winter palace of Queen Emma and the working palace of Queens Wilhelmina, Juliana and Beatrix. If you are one of the first 50 visitors who come to tea with the Queens, you will receive a delicious macaron with tea from the Museum.
